Information - Value of a collection with RLS599 number on the spine and all disks are accounted for.  They are 33 1/3 rpm.  This records are in excellent condition and the cover of the set is also in great condition but the sleeves holding the records inside have deterioration.  The numbers on the records are E3-VP-5236; 5238; 5240;5242; 5245.  Please contact taylorized@optusnet.com.au

1. Burnin’ Beat. Rich & Krupa. Verve V-8471. There are a number of scratches, most I cannot feel with my finger. Jacket is in very good condition with great color photo of them smiling. $5
2. That Drummer’s Band. Epic EE22027. NM/VG+ to NM. $9
3. Verve’s Choice-The Best of GK. Verve V/8594. NM/NM. $7
4. Krupa & Rich. Clef  MGC684. Record looks to be in excellent condition. Label has 2 small holes drilled into it.  No jacket. $7
5. The Gene Krupa Story in Music. Harmony HL 7252. Record looks to be in very good condition. Jacket has 3-sided seam split, but covers are sharp and clear. $7
6. The Mighty Two (Louis Bellson). Roulette R-52098. Record Side 1 looks to have a about 5 thin scratches that I cannot feel with my finger; Side 2 has one scratch on Cut 1 that I can feel with my finger and a few others that I cannot feel. $6

Art Blakey
1.  Hardbop. Columbia CL 1040. (6-eyes). Side 1—many scratches, most I cannot feel with my finger. Side 2 looks pretty  good—about 6 thin scratches that I cannot feel with my finger. $7
2.  Art Blakey & Jazz Messenger -New York Scene. CJ-256. Sealed.  Musicians are Blakey, Terence Blanchard, Donald Harrison, Mulgrew Miller, Lonnie Plaxico & Jean Toussaaint. Tunes are Oh By The Way, Ballad medley: My One and Only Love, It's Easy to Remember & Who Cares, Controversy , Tenderly, Falafel. 1984. $7
3.  Giants of Jazz. Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonius Monk, Sonny Stitt, Kai Winding et al. Atlantic SD-2-90(stereo). 2 LPs. Recorded live at the Victoria Theatre in London. 1972. Records look to be VG++ to near mint; gatefold jacket has some ring wear and shows some cover wear. $9
4.  Ugetsu. Art Blakey’s Jazz messengers at Birdland. Riverside 464 (blue label). Record has about a half dozen scratches, a few that I can just about feel with my finger. Jacket shows some wear with some edge wear. $9
5.  Child’s Dance. Prestige PRST 10047 (stereo). White label.  “Promotional Copy Not For Sale.”  1972.  I see only 2 or 3 scratches that I cannot feel with my finger. Jacket is in very good condition. $8

Buddy Rich
1.  Richcraft. Mercury SR 60136 (stereo). Harry Edison, Emmet berry, Earle warren, Benny Golson, Al Cohn, Phil Woods, Billy Byers et al. There are some thin scratches that I cannot feel with my finger. Jacket is in very good condition. $9
2.  The Best of Buddy Rich. World Pacific Jazz ST-20169 (stereo).  Record looks to be in very good condition; jacket is firm with some flecking on cover and slight ring wear. $7
3.  Class of '78. "Recorded Directo-to Disc. Limited Edition." Great American Gramophone Company GADD-1030 (stereo). 1977.  I see a few very thin scratches=2 0that I cannot feel with my finger; otherwise looks very good. Gatefold jacket is excellent with slight edge wear. $8
4.  Buddy Rich. Everest Records FS260. Buddy's vocals on 6 of the cuts.  Record looks very good with only a few thin scratches that I cannot feel with my finger. Jacket is also very good with color cover art of Buddy. $7

Shelly Manne
1.  At The Black Hawk. Contemporary S7579 (stereo). Black label. Record has a number of scratches, a few that I can feel with my finger. Jacket shows wear with left side center 3" seam split and ring wear. $6
2.  "The Three" & "The Two". Shorty Rogers, Jimmy Giuffre and Russ Freeman. Contemporary OJC 172. Record looks to be in very good condition with only a few tiny marks that can hardly be seen and cannot be felt with the finger. Jacket has ring wear and water stains along right and bottom edges. $7
3.  Shelly Manne & Co. Johnny Hodges, Don Byas, Ray Nance, Barney Bigard et al. Flying Dutchman FD 10150 (stereo). Record looks to be in excellent condition except for a few very thin scratches that can hardly be seen and cannot be felt with finger. Gatefold jacket shows some ring wear and general jacket wear. $8
4.  Empathy. Bill Evans and Monty Budwig. Verve V-8497. Record has 5 long scratches on Side A and a few on Side B, none that I can feel with my finger. Gatefold jacket is firm with some ring, edge  and general wear. $7
5.  Shelly Manne & His Men20Play Peter Gunn. Herb Geller, Victor Feldman et al. Contemporary C3560. Record shows20a number of scratches with a few of them I can feel with my finger. Jacket has edge and some ring
wear and name written in upper right corner in ink. $5

Elvin Jones
1.  Skyscraper-Vol. 1. George Coleman, Wilbur Little. Honey Dew HD6602 (stereo). 1977. Record has a scratch around center of Side A that I cannot feel with my finger; Side B looks to be without marks. Jacket has some edge wear and some general wear. $7
2.  Skyscraper-Vol. 3. George Coleman, Wilbur Little. Honey Dew HD6604 (stereo). 1977. Sides A & B have thin 1 thin scratch each along the groove that is thin and I cannot feel with my finger, otherwise looks very good. Jacket looks very good. $7

Cozy Cole
1.  Concerto for Cozy. Savoy MG 14010. Record looks to be in very good condition, except for a couple of scratches on Side A, one of which I just about feel with my finger. No jacket. $5
2.  Drum Beat for Dancing Feet. Gene Krupa, Ray McKinley, Panama Francis. Coral CRL57423. Record has a few very thin scratches that I cannot feel with my finger. Jacket has some writing on top and shows wear. $7
3.  Louis Armstrong Alumni featuring Cozy Cole. Lionel Hampton, Big Chief Moore et al. Who’s Who in Jazz WWLP 21003 (stereo). Record looks to be near mint; jacket has edge wear and some ring wear. $6

Kenny Clarke. Trio. Savoy MG 12023. Hank Jones, Wendell Marshal
l.  Record looks to be in excellent condition. No jacket.  $6

Osie Johnson’s All Stars. Swingin’ Sounds. Jazztone J-1234. Thad Jones, Frank Wess, Charlie Folkes et al. Record has a few tiny marks that I cannot feel with my finger; jacket has some edge wear, otherwise pretty good. $7

Jo Jones. The Essential Jo Jones. Vanguard VSD 101/2 (2 LPs). Records are excellent. Gatefold jacket shows wear, but firm. $9

Hanna-Fontana Band. Live at Concord. CJ 11. Record is in excellent condition as is jacket. $6

Panama Francis. The Savoy Sultans. Everything Swings. George Kelly.  Stash ST 233. SEALED. $7

Bobo Shaw. Human Arts Ensemble. Whisper of Dharma. Arista 1039. Record looks very good – no marks seen; jacket shows some wear and small lower right bottom corner cut. $6

Butch Miles
1.  Butch’s Encore. Carmen Leggio, Russell Procope. Famous Door HL 124 (stereo). Record has a few thin scratches and one that I can just about feel with my finger. Jacket is very good. $6
2.  Miles and Miles of Swing. Butch Miles Sextet. Famous Door HL 117.  (stereo). Scott Hamilton, Marty Markowitz. Record has one long scratch that I cannot feel with my finger, otherwise looks excellent. Jacket has edge and ring wear, but is firm. $6

Norman Connors. You Are My Starship. Phyllis Hyman vocals. Buddah BDS 5655 (stereo). Record has about a half dozen scratches that I cannot feel with my finger. Jacket shows some ring wear, but otherwise very good. $6

Information - I have recently acquired 5 Original Pressings of 5 different Glenn Miller Box Sets, and need Information on them. They are: 
1. Glenn Miller and his orchestra Limited Edition Volume 1
Number on spine: RLS 599
The Numbers on the disc Start at E3-VP-5236 and all discs are accounted for.
They are 33 1/3 rpm, and the whole set is in absolute mint condition, save a small tear on the back of the book itself.  Also, They're is a sticker on Each record that has an R on it and says "Made in England for radio corporation of America"
 
2.Glenn Miller and his orchestra Limited Edition Volume 2
Number on spine is LPT 6701, and number 338 of the pressing.
The Numbers on the disc start at EV4P-8201 and all discs are accounted for.
They are 33 1/3 rpm, and again, the whole set is in perfect mint condition including the booklet in the front.
The only copyright I can find in the whole book is on page 11, under the article "The Men and the Music", and it says "copyright 1954, Radio Corporation of America."

3. For the very first time, 50 never before released original performances by Glenn Miller and his orchestra.
Number on spine is LPM 6100 (3)
There is a copyright on page one that says "copyright by Radio Corporation of America, 1959"
The numbers on the disc start at K2PP-0042, and all discs are accounted for.
They are 33 1/3 rpm, The booklet and the discs are in mint condition, however the corner of the binder is scuffed. That is really the only flaw.

4. Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band
Number on spine is LPT-6702
The only copyright in the record is that on the first page that reads "copyright 1955, Radio Corporation of America"
The numbers on the disc start with F2PP-4748 and all discs are accounted for.
They are 33 1/3 rpm. The discs are in mint condition. The binder is in nearly mint condition due to some of wear over the years, and the booklet is in good condition due to some stains... but no folds or anything of the sort.

5. Glenn Miller and his Orchestra Second Pressing
Number on spine is LPT 6700
The Number on the discs start at E3VP-5236, and all are accounted for.
They are 33 1/3 rpm, and both the discs and the booklet are in mint condition, however the front of the binder does have a tear.
